Lo Romero is one of the most recent golf courses in the area, it was opened in 2008 and is located in Pilar de la Horadada. Designed by Jorge Gallén and Enric Soler, it is a par 72, and 6,061 meters long from the yellow tee. The course has very beautiful holes and challenging fairways and bunkers. The landscape is lush with ponds and orange pines. The most famous hole at Lo Romero, and maybe in the whole Costa Blanca area, is the 18th, a 356 meters, par 4 from the yellow tee with the green located on a beautiful island, surrounded by water. For those that hit long drives there is a possibility of getting onto the green in two shots but it can be tough not to end up in the water.
