Villamartin is near the house. Paul Putman designed the golf course in 1972. Many golf tournaments have been held here, e.g. Mediterranean Open in 1994, which Jose Maria Olazabal won in a great battle with Paul McGinley.
The course is a par 72 and 6,037 meters in length from the yellow tee, and 5,259 from the red tee. Hole 17 counts as a signature hole, it is a par 3, 175 meters long from the yellow tee, a very challenging hole with a deep ravine and a challenging green for most golfers. A diverse course with lots of old pines and olive trees that makes golfers use most of the clubs in their golf bag. A great course to play, with a charming clubhouse.
